The Little Dojo and Walla Walla’s Premier Martial Arts Sponsor XMA

By the little dojo | August 19, 2006

The Little Dojo and its ancestors have been long involved with Theatrical Martial Arts. Fook Yueng was a member of the Chinese Red Boat Opera as was his friend who was the father of Bruce, and of course Bruce Lee was deeply involved in the theatrical aspects of the arts as well.

With that in mind we are very pleased to co sponsor Performance or Extreme Martial Arts together with Walla Walla’s Premier Martial Arts. Extreme Martial Arts or XMA is a new movement what they call a Revolution in Martial Arts, combining presentation skills, gymnastics, dance and theater. XMA is the creation of martial arts Super Star Mike Chat and Premier Martial Arts is also integrating the excellent Millennium Curriculum created by Roland Osborne. This program is available for anyone of any age that is interested in taking their presentation skills to a new level of excellence.

Walla Walla’s Premier Martial Arts XDT Team is using this method to good effect with many medals, ribbons and grand championships. What does this have to do with The Little Dojo? Alot Fook Yueng got his start in the theater and has said that martial arts is for healing. These kids are becoming confident, friendly, young people. They are the next generation not just in the martial arts but also will be the leaders of the next generation, it does us good to invest in them with our time energy and resources.

Steve Smith is available for consultation on theatrical productions in the Cinema or for plays. His experience includes, Sword, Staff, Baton, and Fight Scene Planning.
