Steve Smith Seminar in Seattle on 11-7-2009
By the little dojo | October 28, 2009
Steve Smith will be doing a seminar in Seattle, WA on Saturday November 7th.
For those who have not worked with Steve I highly recommend this opportunity. He is a wealth of knowledge and skill, having worked with many great instructors including David Harris, Fook Yueng, Jesse Glover, and Sonny Umpad. Steve’s skills are a unique blend of his many influences combined with and his own “way†of moving.
At this seminar Steve will be covering the following topics (and possibly others):
Gung Fu to Grappling, Counter Grappling, Knife Defense, Counter Gun, & Balance Stealing.
If possible, please arrive 15-30 minutes early so I can get everyone signed in before we start. Please feel free to call me if you have any questions.
Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Steve we all appreciated you coming to Seattle (Nov. 7, 2009) and sharing some of your knowledge with us. It was my pleasure to finally meet you, and I look forward to future meetings. The turn out was truly outstanding. I learned a lot of valuable stuff & will try with my limited understanding to incorporate with my NCGF. Again thank you my friend.

Sean, it was good to train with you guys a little and to feel the kind of power, speed and sensitivity that you are all getting training with THE Man. Very impressive and on top of that willing to look at other things and share knowledge.

Hello! Steve
Sorry, I missed your seminar last weekend. I would love to learn Nong Sonny’s style of eskrima. Can you let me know when your coming back this side of the mountain? Thanks in advance

Hi Joel, we will try to have things posted on this site for seminars. I will forward your email to Tom DeFelise who usually sets them up. Also the good news is that Renato Alfonso one of Sonny’s top students will be coming up from time to time and you will love to meet and train with him too. His Eskrima is excellent. Also am trying to get Chris S. to come up with him too.
