But I get your drift. We would never want to have to use the stuff combativly, and then only as a last resort. It seams to me that learning good knife and gun defense is getting to be a better and better idea.  The nation just went through a devistating attack at Virginia Tech, our hearts go out to all of the families that were affected. We all were shown up front and personal the need for training and awarness in our lives.  An attack like that can happen anywhere and it seams like a great plan to develope the skills to deal with them. An added bonus was to experience the generous and playful spirit of his students,which always tunes me in to the controlling influence of a space.in addition to this was the Infinity Knife.It makes me feel that all my time with Corto Cadena was a waste. I could see that many people are well on there way to becoming top flight artists, while most are just beginning to realize what a unique oppourtunity it is to train with Steve.I hope to come down and visit whenever possible, you all have inspired me to train if not more "seriously", at least more often. Although, I have to make sure if Maestro Smith was refering to me as an Uncle or a Grandpa? Maybe I have to start packing a cane...
