Her spirit beamed out from her joyous smile, and lit up the room whenever she entered. Gerry's love of animals and nature,gave me a shortcut to get to know her quickly, as she asked me a barrage of questions about dogs, and often shared pictures of her and Dave's safaris, although her obsession with photography sometimes got us thrashed more than usual when she didn't quite get the shot she wanted.
